My wife and I visited the Gunther Volvo showroom and were greeted by Blake Nesbeth. We promptly test drove the XC40 we found on the Gunther website. While on that test drive, I inquired about the difference in price between the XC40 and XC60 models. Blake responded immediately with the cost information and an inventory of the XC60 cars he had in stock. The vehicles he chose to show us were the examples with the best incentives and values. We found ourselves on a test drive with the XC60 T6 Inscription while he explained all the differences, benefits and negatives between the two models. After the test drive Blake parked the XC40 and XC60 vehicles side by side so my wife and I could objectively compare and contrast both models. During this process we decided that the extra room and features of the larger XC60 would be a better fit for our needs. The next phase of the process after choosing the exact vehicle was to negotiate the final out the door price. During this process, Blake truly excelled. His honesty and candid responses were greatly appreciated, the lack of games and double speak are rare in the car buying process. Once a deal was made, and the numbers were agreed upon, it was time for us to enter the "Finance Office" portion of the car buying process. Finally, we were introduced to Michael Louvaris. Michael was the finance manager that would secure our financing options and finalize the purchase. I've purchased a large number of cars in my lifetime, and this part of the process is the sketchiest. I'm happy to report that Michael Louvaris is an exception to all the previously negative experiences. Like Blake, Michael was refreshingly honest and straight forward. I couldn't believe how direct and honest he was during this process. Every cost detail from the previously negotiated deal with Blake was properly represented on the final paperwork. The banks chosen, reflected better than current market rates, which was a pleasant surprise. In conclusion, it is my opinion that the combination of Blake Nesbeth (sales) and Michael Louvaris (finance) are a DREAM TEAM of car buying in 2022.
